Dillan James Mann
Software Engineer in Test @ IES Glasgow
I am a Computer Games Technology graduate from the University of Abertay where I achieved an Upper Second Class Honors degree. My Honors project was titled ‘Using Lindenmayer Systems as a means of generating procedural caves’.
The nature of my learning at University has led me to be a proficient all-round programmer.
I have become familiar with today’s modern graphics and audio libraries, such as DirectX11 with Direct3D 11 and OpenGL 4.0 with shaders, along with some modern networking libraries (WinSock, SFML) and even lower-level API’s such as the Windows graphics environment. I am a quick learner and am always willing and trying to learn new development environments, languages and libraries.
